Be STILL

"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.".....Psalm 46:10

In this age of busyness, noise and  fast track life-style, where everything around us is moving at  an alarming speed, thankfully by technology, from fast foods through fast internet to fast trains and fast life-style, God is commanding us to be STILL  and know that He is God. He desires for us to step back for a moment, relax and calm our minds.Thats a soothing command and very refreshing, and makes me think about how Stillness really connects with our christian  and daily life.

We're so busy all the time.The little time we have for ourselves seems  to me , is when  we are really asleep at nite.We rush to work every morning with a little prayer or sometimes none, and rush back from  work every evening feeling exhausted and much worse than we went in.  The same thing happens everyday. This generation is moving faster and faster but not wiser. So much Knowledge abounds now, but we make more mistakes than can be avoided earlier times.We are  always worrying about tommorrow, this year, next year, our degrees, our job, our marriage, our  present life, our future, the traffic on the road,  what we would wear on that wedding or on sunday, the mortgage, the kids school fees,food on the table, the church, the bank account, the mounting monthly bills etc, etc. This all together culminates into a life of stress and hurry, and really puts us on a road where God is neglected in our day to day struggles and concerns. If water derives lucidity from stillness, how much more our Christian life and day to day business.?

 

Where are we heading with this busyness and fast life?

"Blessed are the single-hearted, for they shall enjoy much peace. If you refuse to be hurried and pressed, if you stay your soul on God, nothing can keep you from that clearness of spirit which is life and peace. In that stillness you will know what His will is.No thought, no action, no movement, total stillness: only thus can one manifest the true nature and law of things from within and unconsciously, and at last become one with heaven and earth."

So What is Stillness?Stillness is where All of Creation Begins.Stillness is All Knowledge.Stillness is Extreme Power.Stillness Is GOD.Everything Imaginable and Unimaginable is created from Stillness.

By just  tapping into Stillness, your awareness will grow. How could it not? You are tapping into All That Is. You are tapping into God, the Dynamite in your spirit. Your Knowledge will grow as well, because you are tapping into the space where all knowledge comes from. You will become aware that you have  extreme power in you and that you are wonderfully made and will surmount every life obstacle.

Am sure you agree with me by now that, it is worthwhile finding the Stillness within yourself? Finding Stillness may be a journey for some, but continue to find some time to be just  alone and  Still and you will have the Source of All Sources flow through you, and with that you will begin to Know Who You Are!The more you become still, the more your reality grows. You ascend, you rise higher, then higher, then even higher. The possibilities are endless. This is not for a select few. This is everyone’s birthright. . The more you become still, the more knowledge you will gain, the more awareness you will attain of God. You will continue to ascend into higher levels of consciousness. It is that simple.

How To Achieve Stillness
Simply by creating some noise free environment (no thought, no action, no movement just Stillness) and spending time alone in meditation solely on God in your life for a time each day.You will be giving yourself the greatest of gifts just by being Still—that of Self Love and true worship . It is never time wasted; it is always beneficial to you. The results of this growing stillness may seem to be subtle and unexpected but always beneficial as your life’s course aligns itself with a higher awareness, which is this stillness. By nurturing yourself in this stillness, opportunities arise for gaining greater Clarity in your life about whatever it is that concerns you in the moment—to release the fears, and to begin to have answers for the mounting daily life problems .

Remember that God wont show up in the mist of the  busyness,noise,confusion, turmoil, chaos,cry, uproar, pandemonium,disturbances,tears,sickness, anxiety, stress, depression, etc, etc, He would only show up when All is STILL. You will only know He is God when you are Still .Just Be Still and Seize the Moment and start the awakening of your Spirit.
